Born a military brat, lived and was ecucated all over the world. My first introductions to religion/philoshy were by Hiako, my Japanese nanny (in Japan). So Shinto Buddhism became a part of my original being. I have studied (college level) major religions and won scholarships to Golden Light Temple (Buddhist), Duke Divinity (Methodist) and Hillel (Jewish)…none of which I used.

While I have pursued a career as a system engineer, and gained from the travel it gave, I have, at my core, always been an interested observer of cultures. I am, regardless of education and experience, a down to earth character …hense my longterm nickname…Culture Cowboy.
